Hi future friend! My name is Leika Schmidt. I’m a licensed practical nurse in the state of MN. It's a pleasure to meet you! Thank you for taking the time to get to know me! 

As I've worked in long term care, TCU and hospice, I’ve cried many tears and held the hands of sick and dying patients, given hundreds of hugs to grieving family members while serving my time as a bedside nurse. The process of humanizing each person’s pain and suffering was my goal. Fighting for their best care and advocating for their health and recovery was my daily MO. I’m a lover of human interaction and believe that the exchange of human energy is crucial for our mental health and survival.

As your humble nurse and provider, I understand how difficult it is to bare certain parts, especially to a new stranger! Hair is very personal. Allowing a healthcare professional the honor of caring for you during your hair reduction journey is one that I take pride in. I abide by HIPPA regulations but I won’t make you feel like a number! You are in a safe, private space and your health and wellness is guaranteed in my care.

My clinic is a safe place and judgment-free zone. I support immigrant rights, LGBTQ and Trans rights, and support our local police department officers, veterans and those serving in the military.  I am a woman of color and second generation American citizen who believes in creating a supportive community free of hatred, sexism, and racism.
