Frequently asked questions

What should I do to prepare for my laser hair removal session?

  • SKIN MUST BE CLEANLY SHAVEN 24-48 hours before the appointment
  • No sun exposure for the last 2 weeks
  • Do not apply deodorant, cologne/perfume, oils, lotions or any medicated products on the treatment area the day of your appointment
  • Avoid cutting yourself before the appointment, open areas will not be treated

Does laser hair removal hurt?

Sensation during laser hair removal can vary. Most clients describe it as a snapping or rubber band sensation. We prioritize your comfort and use Zimmer's Cryo 7 chiller, designed to make the experience as tolerable as possible.

How often do I need to go in for treatments?

Typically, laser hair removal treatments are spaced 4-6 weeks apart to target hair in its active growth phase. For most people, monthly sessions for 6 months will result in 80% reduction. Your personalized plan will be discussed during your initial consultation at Modern Masterpiece Laser..

Will the hair removal be permanent?

Laser hair removal significantly reduces hair growth, with many clients experiencing long-term reduction. While it's often referred to as 'permanent,' periodic touch-up sessions may be needed to maintain optimal results as some hair follicles can regrow over time.

How long will it take to see a good reduction?

At Modern Masterpiece Aesthetics, patients can typically look forward to about 80% hair reduction after a series of 6 treatments. Following this initial course, touch-up sessions might be recommended every 2-3 months to maintain your results permanently until your complete desired level of hair reduction has been achieved.

Why choose Modern Masterpiece Laser for laser hair removal?

  1. Best prices in town. Check out my competitors' pricing. $200 for one Brazilian treatment? $4000 for a lifetime of Brazilian treatments? I mean, come on!
  2. Safety and Experience.  Laser certified and trained LPN, that has seen hundreds of patients and has years of experience in laser and nursing.
  3. Education. You will never leave the clinic without learning something new. The most important thing you can do is take care of your skin, so pre-treatment and post-treatment guidelines will be given.
  4. Convenient hours, open 7 days a week! At other businesses, you may have to book a couple months in advance just to be seen for the first time! Not here, schedule your session at least 24 hours in advance and have a FREE CONSULTATION.
  5.  Same equipment as MILAN but without the high-pressure sales. I use the Candela Gentlemax Pro and the Zimmer Cryo 7. But I don't keep asking you what area you want to do next unless you start the conversation!
